E&C Division is developing resistors. We are aiming to become a global standard by refining the world's highest level of high-voltage characteristics and high stability in the high resistance range.We are also developing resistors that meet customer requirements and are achieving results by being used in many national project facilities.

Research content

High-voltage, high-precision, high-resistance values resistor

E&C Division manufactures and sells ultra-high resistors used in the high-resistance, high-voltage range for industrial equipment. The fields in which they are used include equipment and measuring instruments that require high voltage and high precision. Users include companies, universities and public research institutions involved in the electrical industry and cutting-edge technology, such as semiconductor manufacturing equipment, X-ray power supply equipment and analytical equipment, and they contribute to the development of science and technology in a wide range of fields.

Joint research with NEDO (New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization)

In collaboration with the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology, Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation, and Tokyo Institute of Technology, we applied for and were selected for the FY2023 NEDO Pioneering Research Program / Pioneering Research Program for Creating New Industries and Innovative Technologies, under the theme of “Pioneering Quantum Traceable Ultra-Low Current Sensing”.
Our company was selected for this program because of the high evaluation of our technology for manufacturing ultra-high-precision and ultra-stable resistors.
We will continue to contribute to the development of increasingly sophisticated electronic devices and the realization of a safe and secure society by constantly pursuing new technologies and quickly linking the possibilities of various high-resistor products to customer requirements.

Our high resistors boast high reliability and high precision. This excellent performance is supported by a variety of technologies for accurately measuring high resistance. The measurement of resistance values, resistor noise, and various characteristics all rely on these advanced measurement technologies. It goes without saying that precise measurement is essential for manufacturing excellent resistors. Furthermore, for our resistors designed for high-voltage applications, high-voltage measurement technology is an important factor in ensuring product reliability. We are still focusing on the pursuit of resistor measurement technology and high-voltage measurement technology. This pursuit is the basis for the development of even better high-voltage resistors.
